2023 Domaine de Pierres

"The Rocks" of Milton-Freewater District in the Walla Walla AVA is named after the large river stones that permeate the vineyards, which add distinct characteristics to the wine and distinguish it from other Washington AVAs. Our affection for site-expressive Syrah led us here in 2014, when we purchased the Ancient Stones vineyard and immediately got to work tilling the soil multiple times each year to expose the latent rocks. The results are clearly shown in every glass of our Domaine de Pierres (Field of Stones.)
