SUNU 100% Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley is a snapshot of multiple vineyard sites, clonal selections, and winemaking techniques and represents the marine sedimentary soils that we find so compelling in Northern Oregon.  It’s a blend of each of our blocks, with individual barrels selected based on their early approachability and youthful generosity.  An absolutely incredible value, it’s elegant, complex, and unmistakably Willamette Valley.

"A delight straight out of the bottle, the 2019 SUNU is a pure, crystalline ruby, and filled with intense just-ripe strawberries and red cherries, with accents of fresh mushroom, ground spices, and rose petals. Superbly elegant on the palate, yet full and penetrating with crisp red berries and melon leading the way. The finish is a pleasure, supported by silky tannins and fresh acidity. This lovely wine will accompany just about anything you can put on the table and might make you think you’ve stumbled on an old-world treasure." Winemaking: Open Top Fermentation, 33% Whole Cluster Fermentation, 25% New French Oak, Aged 16 Months.

"From a 1.3-acre parcel in the Lazy River Vineyard, the 2021 SUNU Chardonnay sports a medium gold hue to go with terrific notes of honeyed orange blossom, stone fruits, toasted bread, and hints of hazelnuts. It's nicely textured, medium-bodied, has terrific balance as well as outstanding length."
