  • 2018 SUNU, Willamette Valley, OR 100% Pinot Noir from our sister winery

Wine description: Fresh and vibrant, the 2018 SuNu is a brilliant ruby color, showing intense red fruit aromas of strawberry and bing cherry, offset by forest floor, baking spice and mandarin zest. The palate is elegant with an uncanny sense of concentration to the cranberry and passionfruit flavors that emerge.  The tannins are silky, along with bright acidity, provide support to the long, building finish (more.)

  • 2019 La Serenne, Yakima Valley, WA 100% Syrah (more)
Wine description: Cracked espresso bean, crushed rock, shaved fennel, dark berries and black pepper fill the glass alongside bright violet and fresh herbs. The palate, while medium-bodied, is rich, vibrant and expressive adding a lavish combination of crushed blackberries and blueberries to the luxurious mouthfeel.  The tannin is present but polished, with superb acidity propelling a prolonged, intense finish.  This flourishes with a short decant now and can be cellared 15-20 years. (Jeb Dunnuck, 93-95 points)
  • 2018 Pere de Famille, Columbia Valley, WA Cabernet Sauvignon (more)

Wine description: The 2018 Pere de Famille is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with 10% Petit Verdot and 2% Merlot. Displaying a deep ruby color at the core and firm red ruby rim, the nose opens to the mineral tension expected of Red Mountain with a dark red-fruited essence, black cherry, dark plum and dusty raspberry with an elegant oak richness and dusty red flower petals. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is rich and mineral on the palate, showing a spicy cinnamon tone that builds with a firm tannic grip. As the wine sits on the palate, it unpacks more of its complexities, showing precision and finesse. A brilliant wine, it ends with a long, lingering finish that will show beautifully for more than a decade. Absolutely delicious.
